Administration Condemns 'Democratic Hoax' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photos Disclosed

House Democrats have made public a new tranche of what they described as "disturbing" photographs from the property of adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The opening batch of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been previously circulated—along with another 70 issued later on Friday represent a tiny fraction of the nearly 100,000 images released to the House oversight committee, which is looking into the actions and ties of Epstein.

The fallen money manager was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York prison cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking offenses.

Notable Figures in the Images

Featured among the prominent personalities shown in the first release are celebrities including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin conglomerate.

Donald Trump is pictured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are redacted.

Administration Response

The White House reacted to the release in a statement, charging Democrats of purposefully "choosing" the photographs for partisan aims and to "seek to establish a false narrative."

"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been consistently disproven," a presidential representative said, asserting that "the Trump administration has done more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by repeatedly calling for openness, releasing reams of documents, and calling for more inquiries into Epstein's liberal connections."

Panel Member Comment

The photos were released devoid of explanation, but per a California Democrat and ranking member of the oversight committee, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's connections to affluent people.

"It is time to end this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he stated in a statement.

The disclosure of these documents occurs alongside the oversight committee pressing on with its inquiry into the Epstein case.
