🔗 Share this article Football Analyst Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Olly Murs in Premier League Predictions The Gunners' 10-game winning streak came to an end by Sunderland before the global hiatus, but can the Premier League leaders recover against local foes Tottenham this weekend? "{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," remarked soccer expert Chris Sutton. "The Spurs manager will attempt to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team usually still manage to win." Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this season, versus AI, readers and a range of special visitors. For the twelfth round, he faces singer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United supporter. The singer's new record, Knees Up, is out on the weekend. Soccer and Family Life Olly is a skilled footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a star of multiple Soccer Aid matches over time - but he is not intending a professional return as a footballer. "{I recently played in a benefit match the other evening for a friend of mine," he explained. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can read into that what you will! "I still love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again. "Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my child or son chooses to play instead." The singer and his spouse his partner have a young family, their daughter and Albert, and he is ready to emulate his dad by becoming their coach. "I won't push football on our kids but I've previously told Amelia that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will likely be managing their weekend soccer side," he said. "I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a while too. "My father did it with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I get it from. He coached our side for several years and had great fun with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!" Premier League Predictions Saturday, 22 November Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT The Blues might have to wait a bit longer for Cole Palmer's return from fitness issues but their attack is now stronger with Pedro and Delap both back fit. In my opinion this fixture will be fairly tight, however. The Clarets are well organised and their sole at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal. It smells of a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row. Sutton's prediction: 1-2 The singer's pick: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3 Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2 Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT Bournemouth have been defeated in their past two matches - although both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which shocked me. In contrast, the Hammers secured two in a row before the international break and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they do look strong again. West Ham's sole on the road victory this campaign came at Forest in the summer, when their boss Nuno Espirito Santo was previously Forest coach. Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - can the Hammers continuing their streak under Nuno, or the home side bouncing back? I will choose Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Villa was a blip. Sutton's prediction: 2-0 The guest's outlook: Bournemouth are performing strongly but the visitors have picked up under Nuno. 2-2 The algorithm's prediction: 1-1 Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT The Bees were seen as one of the favourites for relegation before the season started, but they have surprised a few observers under their manager and are in good form with three wins in their last four games. A family member told me to select Bees forward Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I didn't listen. Thiago will probably score again on Saturday but I am still not going to select him or support the away side at Brighton's ground. The Bees have not had much success on the road this term, and the Seagulls are consistently strong at home. The visitors will attempt to hit them on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's side carry much more of a danger. The analyst's forecast: 2-1 The singer's view: This could be a match where you expect there is going to be a many scores but it in reality proves to be quite close. 1-1 The computer's prediction: 2-1 Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT This is a massive game for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six games. They have got plenty of quality in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone battle. As for Sunderland, indeed they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far. Their performance in the two-all draw with Arsenal last time out was superb. We have not seen any other team disrupt the North London side like that this term, and they were more than a match for them. The sensible thing to do to back the visitors here, because they are obviously capable of disrupting the hosts up too and, the last time they were in west London, they defeated Chelsea at the end of last month. But I am not going to choose that. Rather, I really need to continue opposing Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their positive outcomes because they clearly love to defy my predictions. Considering the home side's at Craven Cottage record, the only team they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Their manager's side will be extremely desperate for a positive outcome, so I am going to say they will secure three much-needed points. Sutton's prediction: 1-0 Olly's prediction: I know Sunderland are doing well and additionally that Fulham are on a bad streak... but they have nonetheless been respectable at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0 AI's outlook: 2-0 Anfield, 15:00 GMT This is a hard one to call. The Reds have lost seven of their past 10 games in all competitions, but might they be among the teams who benefit from the {international break|
